In order to serve the Hispanic home buyer, the LNHC has created the LULAC Home Buyer Center Program in key markets throughout the United States . The LULAC Home Buyer Centers is a program to consolidate resources in a given community and make them readily accessible to the Hispanic home buyer.

These Centers are located in key market areas where LULAC has a major presence and a strong grass roots base. This is critical to the marketing efforts that will be needed to overcome historical and institutional barriers. This one-stop concept provides a wide range of services from credit counseling and pre-qualification to making referrals to approved realtors, lenders and builders. Tracking results will be the ultimate measure of our success. These efforts must result in increased home loans and reduce foreclosures.

The Lulac Home Buyer Center model is based on the premise that most low-to-moderate income families are more willing to visit a Lulac facility because it is a well-known and trusted name in the community. The one-stop concept provides a more customer-friendly environment that is sensitive to the cultural and linguistic needs of this customer base. This model follows the customer from the moment they contact us all the way through the education process, referrals to real estate agents and lenders until the customer moves into their home. A post purchase program is in place to further assist the new homeowners and to mitigate foreclosures.

A total of 4 LULAC Home Buyer Centers are open and operational in Dallas , San Antonio , Phoenix and Chicago . Additional centers are planned in Miami and Los Angeles as financial resources allow.
