- Inform LULAC Councils about housing issues and how they can get involved.
        
  - Promote formation of housing committees at state and local levels.         

  - Promote education programs on home buying, financial literacy, credit and
    other areas for Latinos, especially youth and the elderly.         

  - Identify predatory practices and work to expose and eradicate them through
    the media and the legal process where warranted.         

  - Promote housing policies and practices that positively impact housing for low
    to moderate income families.         

  - Develop a national response system to address housing issues.         

  - Develop awareness of housing issues via a national media campaign.
